When we were working in an IT consultancy in San Francisco, we observed increasing client demands for time tracking systems. The existing options were outdated, clunky, or not suited to a professional workforce. So we built one of the first SaaS time tracking systems - we called it ClickTime and spun out a brand new company.
Twenty-five years later, we’ve moved from that simple problem to a broader mission: to help businesses align their employees’ activities with strategic priorities, and to fully quantify where their time and money actually go.
Along the way we’ve gained experience from 2 billion hours of customer data across many industries worldwide. We know that employees resent time tracking when it’s awkward or feels like surveillance. Managers struggle to know where their projects and budgets stand. Finance teams want accurate, auditable data for the GL and executive reporting. Everything needs to be integrated across the tech stack.
Every day we’re working on solutions that address these problems. We retain our focus because we’re not forced to chase trends: we've remained management-owned and debt-free since day one, so we answer to our customers, not investors.
We seek bright and practically-minded people eager to dive into these problems. If this sounds like a good fit, get in touch.
