California Overtime Rules
ClickTime makes it easy to track and report on California employee overtime. For those employees or businesses not exempt from CA overtime, ClickTime supports the state’s overtime regulations.
1.5x the employee’s regular rate of pay
- All hours worked in excess of eight, up to and including 12 hours in any workday
- The first eight hours worked on the seventh consecutive day of work in a workweek
Double the employee’s regular rate of pay
- All hours worked over 12 in any workday
- All hours worked over 8 on the seventh consecutive day of work in a workweek
